I called the prescription line today and was asked to order online. When I have gone to order medication, medication has been removed from my online system which was an inconvenience. Luckily I had an old prescription which I could refer to. My medication needs to be available to me due to the fact I have type 1 diabetes. Items for patients who have long term conditions should never have their items removed. I am on a repeat diary system for my medication each month due to being a type 1 diabetic. The monthly diary system is very in flexible and I have to make monthly visits to the doctors. When I was at another doctors and once my medication was stable they prescribed items for a duration of 3 months. My medication will never be wasted as I have long term conditions. Other issues are getting out of works hours appointments with the diabetic nurses which is basically impossible. It means that a patient would have to take a half a day holiday for a 30 minutes appointment. There needs to be more flexibility for working individuals.

I am always confident that I can have an appointment if I need one, usually with my regular doctor, but all our notes can be accessed on line whoever we see.

The practice is very efficiently run and the times to get an appointment seem far better than what one generally hears about the NHS elsewhere in this regard.

Only waited for a very short time. The nurse(Anthea) was cheerful and friendly. Obviously enjoyed her work. She did the blood test gently and was successful first time. No room for improvement!
